I got really lucky - there is a relly nice worman around the block who is a licensed in home day care provider. She generally cares for a few toddlers / babies but she agreed to watch my son and 1 other boy before and after school and if we need her during holidays. Its working out great so far.

I was just thinking about this today! DD is 6 months old and I was wondering what am I going to do when she goes to preschool! That's not usually 5 days a week/all day! I might have to find a new day care person by then or she will have to go to preschool in another town.

Our school district has before and after care as well. I am pretty sure most school districts offer this care. At the time my kids are in school, I will change hours so I am able to be home for them.
