update* Genetic counseling...
Hey girls,
1. THANK you for all your  and 
2. we went and saw the genetic counselor today so we can make a final decsion about the amio. We are going to go AGAINST the amio only bc, the risk that I miscarry is 1 in 100.. The odds of MAdison having downs sydrome is 1,595, and the odds for Trisomy 18 are 1 in 1,600, there for i don't think it is worth it. The AFP result show that everything is fine and normal and she is growing on task and does not have any other features other then the cyst that are a cause for concern.. Therefore The counselor was not worried. The Specialist Dr came in to say hi and tried to talk us into doing the amio but I don't want one and DH supports my decision so it is what it is, WE know go back on December 28 for another sono to see if the cyst have went away or got smaller, and if they have not I will be going for sono's every 2 weeks until delivery.
Just wanted to give you girls an update and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE SUPPORT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME!!

Thank goodness you have some good news, those sound like good odds.
A positive to this, at least you get to see your baby every 2 weeks til birth
ETA: I HOPE THE CYST DISAPPEARS!!! Still praying for you!!

That is wonderful news...
my AFP results came up 1 in 217 for Downs, which is higher than it should be, but I didn't want to risk it with the amnio either. They say the 1 in 100 miscariiage statistic is only with inexperienced people, but I woulddn't want to take that risk at all!!!

Glad to hear things are looking up. I think those odds are more than enough to convince a lot of people that a risky Amnio. is not worth it.
