UPDATE! HELP ME!!! I'm confused!! BFP or BFN?
Update: So I went to a few stores and bought even more tests including a First Response Digital...and it came up Yes+ A BFP!!!! I am in shock. I can't believe it has finally happened for us. Lots of sticky dust please. I can't wait to tell dh tonight! I bought him a book "Quarterback Dad",onesies from our favorite sports team, and 2 bibs that say "I love my daddy." When he called me to tell me he was working late (of course), I told him I forgot I ordered him something for Christmas and it came today. I wrapped it up for him and can't wait to give it to him. I really hope that this isn't a dream. Thank you so much for all of your help  to all
Regular poster in hiding. I'm so confused about everything. I received a smiley on December 17th and dh and I  So I am assuming I o'd on the 19th to be safe? So I counted the 20th as 1 dpo. Is that correct? That would make me 9 dpo today. I know I shouldn't have tested this early but I did and got a very faint pink line within 3 minutes. I ran out and spent $80 on more tests and took a digital and it came up "not pregnant." So I took another FRER and it came up with another faint pink line. I don't know what to believe. I know a line is a line and the digital are less sensitive but I can't believe it until I see the digital confirm. So psychics out there, am I or aren't I? I know you can't answer that but when can I test with the digital again? Sorry for the length of this post. It's been a long road for me to get to this point and I am  for a miracle.
Oh...only syptoms are cramps (feel like O cramps), constipation (sorry tmi), and I feel like a swallowed a rock.

It's probably a BFP. I've never seen or heard of a false positive on those. Wait two days then test with a digital. Congrats!

it might just be too early to register on a digital if you are only 9dpo, but if you are getting faint lines on the FRER i would say you are preggers!

It's probably a BFP! digitals are less sensitve than FRER
If you already bought $80 worth of tests I'd try to hold your pee a few hours and test again tonight, and test again tomorrow with FMU (not with digitals).

A line is def a line - I would wait till tomorrow and test with FMU on the digital. I know everyone is different but I got a BFP at 10dpo on a digital

I agree with the ladies above... Sounds like a BFP to me!!! Maybe wait two days or so and try again with a digital for peace of mind. Congrats!!!

i tested with a cheap line test first (positive) and confirmed with a digital two days later.

sounds like a bfp, its rare you get a flase positive with a test
test in the am with FMU on a digital

OK first, breathe.
second NOT all digitals are more sensitive than line tests. Not all line test are more sensitive than a digital. it all depends on the brand and type of test. there are lists you can follow to be sure you have the MOST sensitive test out there. At 9DPO you NEED the most sensitive test to get a more accurate reading.
Just google Sensitive Home Pregnancy Tests.... you will find sites which lists tests based on sensitivity.
Look for the lowest numbers... 15-25 miu is the most sensitive... set out to test with those tests.
also, hold your urine for at least 4 hours.. try not to dilute it with water. When you are this early FMU is best to use.
I think you are probably pregnant.. but it is still early and i would suggest making sure you have an array of the most sensitive tests to use.

i would guess BFP.
line tests ARE generally more sensitive than digitals. you cant necessarily trust what you google as far as sensitivity (ive seen different opinions on the same brands on different websites). technically you can call the company and ask how sensitive they are, you may or may not get an accurate response.
however, this is why you should not test at 9DPO.. better to just wait a day or two and be sure than have to wonder..

I have also seen some conflicting things... but for the most part it was in alignment... and I went by the google lists to get my BFP at about 10DPO... so it worked for me. I have another friend who got her positive at 9DPO based on the most sensitive tests she found on lists from google.
It's better than just testing with anything... or testing with what you THINK is a sensitive test but really isn't... at least you have some insight, IMHO.

Thanks all! The FRER I took can detect HCG @ 15-25 but the digital detects it at 25 so I guess maybe it's too early for the digital. I haven't peed since 11 but I drank a 16 oz drink in that time. Can I test again or not? Sorry I'm being a psycho
