TBH I think you will have issues with re-sale on both of those houses. A house that backs up to a major roadway like a parkway will be worth less than one that doesn't. It's a deterrent for most buyers.

If re-sale value isn't something that you're concerned with, then I would go for house #2. But if it is, then I would keep looking.
