The official start time of the GTG is 1pm. I will not be able to get there any earlier than 12:30pm. However, I reserved the spot for 10am just in case anything changes. I am not sure how it works, but they took my license plate number so they might be checking that way.
Anyone who wants to go earlier is welcome to, but please keep in mind that this is a GTG planned for working mothers who are taking a day off specifically for this. We are rearranging our schedules to make this a nice day for everyone and I think it's a bit much to expect us to change the time too.
The park is open at 9am for anyone who wants to go earlier but I do not think you will be able to use the picnic area.
I am looking forward to seeing you all there

Devon and LB, thanks for organizing this! I think 1:00 will work for many people. It's just that some toddlers will need to nap during that time, so you'll lose some, but gain others.
I have every intention of staying well beyond 1:00, but DS naps between 1-3 everyday, so it'll be difficult to change HIS schedule, KWIM? I love GTGs because I love meeting other people. I just can't help it if DS can't handle being up for so long without a nap. He'll turn into a monster and I won't be able to enjoy myself. He usually doesn't go for an early nap, no matter how hard I try.

We get that, we understand naps but we just both can't get there sooner then noon so without the permit, we aren't sure how it'll work.
We know we'll lose some and gain some we just can't move it to 10 b/c we cannot get there at 10, but anyone can go whenever they want (obviously) & if you (collective you) want to wait for us to get there at noon, then great. I'll be there for as long can be from noon on.
We just wanted a nice time out since we never get to go to GTGs and whoever can come, perfect!! I'm sorry we can't accommodate all times, it's not easy to organize everyone's schedule & noon was the best we can do.
Anway. . .
I hope it's nice out when we go, I'm excited to go. I've never been to Hoyt Farm  How many ladies ended up taking off? (I did already!!!!!)
