You don't have to - there are benches all around for the adults and you don't have to get wet 
My 16 month old DD doesnt walk yet unfortunatley so I would have to walk her in.. Maybe I will bring it just in case.

Another quick question are there any DH coming?? My Dh has off on Wednesday too and wanted to come as we both have never been there, but he said he would feel really dumb if he is the only guy?

If you are a Town of Smithtown resident, you don't have to say a thing, just tell them that you need a sticker (it's free).
If you aren't, then I think it's $7 to park.
Then go inside and come find us... the permit (as far as I can tell, though someone correct me if I am wrong) is for the use of the benches/picnic area.
It's easy to get to, just take Harned Road north and make a right on New Highway, it's a bit down on the right hand side past the school.

Unfortunately this week has gotten really busy and I don't think we are going to make it.. We were looking forward to it. The weather i suppose to be perfect!
