IT'S OUT!!!!!!!
The damn thing jumped up 6 feet high to the top corner of a window screen and ATE his way through it. OMG!!!!
The flue was left open. F'ing chimney guys.
Oh and Barb, my happy place right now would be with the drunks at Dublin Jack's or whatever the closest whole in the wall tavern is to us.
It's 11:53 and I soooooooo need a drink Would a double stroller fit under a bar?
Oh, and I called DH... where is he? No, not at his desk... at the gym He's never around when @#$% goes down.
FIL went to get the screen repaired and  just woke up.
This beats those "mystery preggo" posts doesn't it?
Glad I could add to the entertainment
ETA: He said it was a big squirrel... bigger than average.

OMG - You seriously are handling it better than I would.
The loud shreaks from my mouth would have had the entire neighborhood at my door on a squirrel hunt...not to mention woke the baby up.
Thank God your little ones were not in the den  I seriously think that had they been there - you so would have had super mom take over - lifted them both up and and out of there in mere seconds.

No offense to cat lovers but the cat was DH'S ex-wife's cat. The cat has even more issues than she had and is not one of my favorite creatures right now.
I told FIL if the cat runs out with the animal.... oh, well She lives IN the bottom of the couch... don't ask that's probably where she was the entire time

But did you happen to catch your FIL's heroic actions on video... Sorry had to laugh at that.
Glad that the cat was a big help.......NOT!!! We have a cat. I'm not really a cat lover but DH is. Anyways I wonder what his reaction would have been. He's caught some bugs that we didn't see. One time he caught a roach that was in a box. It was half dead and half alive. The cat finished off the job and tore him into pieces. So I'd like to think that I would be ok if a mouse decided to show up. He stalks the catnip mouse toys and goes after it as if it were the real thing...
Anyways...Thank God the squirrel is out of your house and now you can go disinfect everything...
