UPDATED: Anyone experiencing....
really bad pressure in the belly region? I have less than 6 weeks to go and had to stay home from work yesterday since the pressure was so uncomfortable. It hurt worse to sit or stand so I pretty much spent the day on the couch. I was also having a few Braxton-Hicks but the pressure is still there this morning. I have a MD's appt this afternoon but was just curious if anyone else is or has experienced this?
UPDATED: Just got back from the doctor and he diagnosed my pain. My stomach muscle has separated which is not normal but does occur in some women. He made me feel where the muscle should be and there is a hole in it's place. (GROSSED ME OUT!) He also did an internal since I was having the Braxton-Hicks and sure enough, nothing's going on.

I'm due 4/10 and I feel exactly the same way as you. I decided today I'm just staying home and not doing too much. I feel like my body is done! It's hard keeping up after my toddler all day. I think it's normal though. I vaguely remember feeling like this when I was pg with my DS.

Oh yeah! I'm due in April and I'm having so much pressure in my belly now, and get some braxton-hicks contractions too, lots of pressure.... I have a feeling this is going to be a big baby!

I had a similar issue and the doc had me get checked out in L&D since his office wasn't open yet...it turned out I was having a lot of contractions! They injected me with meds to stop them and have me on terbutaline for the next 2 weeks- after that they'll let the contractions do as they wish :) Apparently the contractions coupled with an irritable uterus was what was causing me to feel constant pressure. I don't know if it's the same for you. The OB also said I could try a maternity belt...but I haven't bothered.
I hope you feel better soon- hang in there! I just noticed we have the same due date!

I have 6 weeks to go as well and I feel pressure way down there, especially when I've been sitting down for a while...
