Vaccination Question
DS has been sick this week, just a cold but it was his first one. On Wed he has a 10 week checkup coming up and I know they usually give some vaccination shots. I'm not sure which ones. I have heard or read but I'm not sure where that you should delay the shots is they are sick. Is this true?
Can anyone point me to some resources that say why? I want to walk into the Dr. office informed.

The ped will give a check up before any shots. If they see any sign of cold/infection they will not give the shot. You may also want to wait a week if you feel he's really sick.

They wont give him shots if he isnt feeling well. At one of DS appointments I actually waited to give him the shots b/c he had just gotten over being sick and I wanted him to just be well...
