Valentine's Day Plans
What are you ladies doing this valentine's weekend? This will be the last vday for DH and I before our LO joins the family so I'd like to do something. We were going to go to central park on Saturday to see the ice sculptures but DH world for nyc sanitation and with all this snow he's been working 12 shifts and it's looking like we won't be able to go.

Nothing! It's supposed to be, like, 10 degrees and I'm not a cold weather fan at all. We'll be ordering in some yummy Italian food and drinking at home

Since we have kids..............nothing romantic or exciting. 
I usually decorate the kitchen with hearts and cupids and I make everyone a special Valentine's Day breakfast. I'm making a cake too and I bought DH and the kids their own Russel Stover chocolate hearts and cards. I also got the kids a goody bag of Valentine's candy and toys. I'll probably make a nice dinner for us and then once the kids are in bed at 8, DH and I will relax and watch a movie.

my only solid plans is to watch The Walking Dead!!! 
I may potty train my 2 year old.
that's about it very exciting 
seriously before kids we never went out anyway ... we would probably just stay in and maybe watch a movie.

They jack up the prices at restaurants not just on Vday but the whole weekend before and i refuse to pay double for the same meal just because it's a holiday according to Hallmark.
I can say we are watching a movie, but we do that every weekend.

this is going to be our first v-day and we have yet to decide what we do, which is making me sad.

we were going to go to a boring part of Ireland for the weekend, but i asked fh to cancel the flights. he then made reservations for dinner in the city, but i asked him to cancel that, too. lol I looked at the v-day menu and couldnt justify spending that much on a meal. I dont care how great the food is! Im content with just staying home. We have so many big LIFE events coming up this year, that I want to start saving.

We have a wedding in NJ on Sat night so we are staying over night. So probably just heading home Sunday and not doing much of anything. Maybe I'll cook a nice dinner

No plans as of yet. It's hard to plan a date when u have a toddler and a ebfeeding baby 
So as for right now, we're just exchanging gifts.

Nothing exciting here either. I know my Dh ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my girls so I'll have to sneak one of those. In the morning I'll make heart shaped pancakes for everyone. It's my dad's birthday so we will have dinner with my parents.

We may go out for dinner on Saturday to a vegan place we like...nothing fancy. I always thought it was a stupid holiday and I refuse to go to restaurants on the actual day of the holiday.
But since it's going to be as cold as a witch's tit for the whole weekend, I'd be totally fine with staying home, watching movies and cooking instead. We'll see how the week goes.
ETA - also totally excited for TWD returning on Sunday. Now that's a Valentine's gift I can get behind!

I will be sleeping and working most of the weekend. Dh will be celebrating Chinese New Year and working. If I find the strength, I will go to celebration. Working overnights are tough for me.

We are seeing Jim Breuer at The Paramount on the 13th.. DH and I are both huge Mets fans and love Jim from his post-game videos, so we are looking forward to it... I am also excited for a date night which are far and few in between!

DH has to work on V day so I'm hanging out at home and ODing on Netflix - we'll probably order in when he gets home.
Sat night will be a mob scene anywhere you go, so we may be planning an at home game night w friends

EWWW! We moved 2 weeks ago. Blah.
We are having brunch with friends that we've been trying to get together with forever and then probably nothing. DH has an exam at the end of the week so he will be studying most of the day! Fun exciting stuff.

I didn't know there were ice sculptures in the park! I live a few blocks from Central Park. DH has to study -- want to go with me? Two preggos looking at ice sculptures?
