The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown. It is and all Vegan wedding. They announced it on their website and even gave us some other websites to look at to understand why they have this lifestyle.
As many of you know, we are vegan. This means we do not eat, wear, or use animals in any way. We absolutely love being vegan, and living this compassionate lifestyle makes our hearts happy every day!
We want this day to truly reflect who we are, how we live, and what we believe. We're proud to say our entire wedding will be vegan and cruelty free, from the food and alcohol to the bride and groom's attire. This way of life is so important to us, and we couldn't imagine our wedding any other way.
We look forward to introducing you to delicious vegan cuisine and thank you for embracing this special part of our wedding!
If you're interested in learning more, check out Forks Over Knives, Cowspiracy, What the Health, and Vegucated.
I feel guilty now for wanting to look up to see if there is a fast food place near by.
From the food, to the alcohol......?? Is there a non vegan form of booze?
Well the bonus here, OP, is that you know there will be alcohol! Woo!
Nell - yes, some alcohol is not vegan: it can be made with honey (like honey whiskey), cream (like Kaluha - may be spelled wrong)...some cocktails are made with egg whites...some beer and wine is filtered using fish bladders or gelatin. Crazy. You'd NEVER think that fish bladders are used to filter booze.

There are plenty of restaurants in Middletown if you need to stop off before or after and there are always fast food places off the highway.
