Vertigo HELP
What Dr's have you seen ( FP, ENT etc? ) that helped diagnosis your reason for it?
My Dr has insisted it related to my gettign virus'es and it does seem I get spells right after a illness, but I have been having these episodes for years now and Something gotta give or a solution or something.
Trying to take care of my son when they hit ( the spells) is torture.
TIA!

Re: Vertigo HELP
Natural remedies can also provide symptomatic relief of dizziness and nausea associated with vertigo and improves inner ear balance. Herbal remedies containing homeopathic ingredients may be taken at the first sign of symptoms and are safe to use for people of all ages.
Homeopathic ingredients such as Cocculus indicus, Lobelia inflata and Gelsemium have proven to highly effective in relieving the symptoms of dizziness, weakness, fainting, fatigue, headaches and emotional upsets. In addition, Bryonia alba may be beneficial for headaches, and for individuals who perspire where the slightest movement may be disturbing.

Re: Vertigo HELP
My father has suffered on and off from vertigo for years. His regular internist recently gave him meds, and so far so good, he has not had any episodes.
He also went to an ENT to get things checked out, but they found nothing that would cause the vertigo.

Do you know what he takes?
I have tried Antibiotics, Anti-vert, Bonine( basically any form of mecylizine available), Compazine, Prochlorper, and natural remedies like xylitol and Pulsatilla and Bromine

Re: Vertigo HELP
My Grandmother suffers from this and she has described it as being on a boat during a storm (not that I've ever been on one-but I get the picture). We took her to a Balance Center, this one is in Queens, there the neurologist taught her to do some excersises daily. It has been a great help..much more so than any of the prescribed meds.
