warning: way too much neuro info!
menthol actually DOES activate (TRP) receptors like many other drugs.... but becuase vicks is put on the skin locally and its vabor is inhaled, I bet it only acts on the skin and sinuses.... which would make it fine for pregnancy
I would still double check with your Dr, though.

I used it when I first got PG because I seriously could not breathe. There are warnings with everything. You could check with your doctor or pharmacist.
