I actually feel really bad for her. She can't do all the things most normal teenagers get to do without it being videotaped and plastered all over the internet. Disclaimer: I stress the word most in that last sentence. I know not all teenagers go out and get high.

yeah but she made that choice when she chose to be on TV and in the music business. She is a role model for young children, and it's a shame that she doesn't use a little more discretion when she engages in her extracurricular activities. With technology the way iut is today, I would be totally paranoid about what I did and who I did it with if I was in the public eye

I get what you're saying and I've made that same argument before with other actresses but I don't think when she started acting at 10 that she knew what she was getting herself into. I'd be paranoid too and I feel bad that she should live her life feeling paranoid, that's no way to live.

The thing is she is NOT a normal teenager, she's a role model for a lot of kids and I know at 18 you don't have the knowledge and realization of just how powerful her image is to little girls everywhere but someone needs to be telling her that and she needs to be more mindful of what the hell she's doing..OK you want to be a "normal" teenager and smoke pot, fine, but freaking don't do it in front of a freaking camera...or TRY to be a bit more discreet and not have 50 ppl in a room with you while you're doing it should ensure it not leaking onto the internet

Ita - unfortunately being in the public eye, she doesn't get to do normal things every normal kid does.. at least not with such ease... comes with the territory... I imagine it's tough for a celebrity to do most things the average person can get away with and trust that someone (even in their inner circle) isn't just dying to leak it to tabloids or on the internet...
