Virus question
People were very vocal that Trump didn’t do enough to get the virus under control. As the numbers are again ticking up with no end in sight, should Biden be doing more?

Re: Virus question
If they are so concerned with this new delta variant, maybe Biden should stop all these thousands of immigrants from entering our country during a pandemic. Does he even had a plan yet?

Re: Virus question
I disliked trump but i didn’t necessarily blame him For what went on with the virus! I think the problem isn’t on on person to be able to solve. Everyone has to work together.
What is it that can be done. We all go on lockdown again and will people really listen?
Also not sure what immigrants coming into the country even has to do with uptick? Do we really think that’s the reason numbers are out of control again?

Thousands of COVID positive migrants are coming through our border every day then they are being sent to other states. They may not be the only reason that the numbers are ticking up but they are certainly a contribution to that fact.
To answer the original question personally I feel like this is a virus and it needs to play its course. Trump did Operation Warp Speed in order to get the vaccinations rolled out quickly but other than that I don't think there is anything this administration or any other administration could do to end this pandemic quicker.

Re: Virus question
It's odd to me how quick some people are to blame immigrants for any uptick in COVID cases yet don't seem to put any blame on the countless thousands of Americans who refuse to get themselves vaccinated. We're our own problem, there is little blame to be placed elsewhere as far as I am concerned.
ETA - Biden has been pushing hard to encourage vaccination. If people won't vaccinate or follow any CDC guidelines what else can we do? As far as Trump, his failing was NOT delivering a cohesive, strong and NON DIVISIVE message regarding COVID and it's threat.

I am not putting all the blame on them, but it is odd, how they are so worried about this new strain, but letting people come over during a pandemic. Are they vaccinating them? Are they doing what they did when immigrants came through Ellis Island? What are they doing when they come over? Are they testing them, and if so, what are they doing if they test positive? Sorry, these are answers the American people should know,

Maybe they are being vaccinated. Everyone is simply assuming nothing is being done but perhaps that isn't the case.
But again, I am FAR less concerned about immigrants then I am my fellow Americans who are wandering around pretending like COVID isn't a threat to our public health and thinking they know better than literally every doctor, scientist, infectious disease expert and medical journal.
Like I said, we're our own problem...........not immigrants.

You don't believe in vaccines for anyone so why are YOU worried about unvaccinated immigrants being around you?
To my own point, the immigrant population is a FAR smaller population of people compared to the LARGE population of moron Americans in this country running around not giving a cr@p about COVID, whining about masks and refusing vaccines. Immigrants are the LEAST of my worries. We're self destructing as a nation without any "help" from the dreaded, diseased and sick immigrants some are so fearful of.

Biden has kept Trump's immigration policy in place aside from unaccompanied minors. Biden has kep Trump's expulsion policy in place. Title 42 is still in place. I'm not sure why you think that the US is being flooded with illegally entering migrants as they are being immediately expelled

And we ALL know where you stand on vaccines as you haven't shut up about it for MONTHS on end so this little game you're playing today here and on FHF of "am I vaccinated, am I not" and pretending like you believe in vaccines is falling on deaf ears.
And again, immigrants aren't the problem. They are just an easy scapegoat.

Do you have some kind of social ineptitude? Is that why you are unable to carry on a conversation with ANYONE on here without bringing up details about their personal life? It's an odd problem you seem to have especially when nobody ever brings up your DH, kids, house, job, etc. The way you harp on people's lives makes you come across as a very unhappy, insecure and envious individual. I pity you.

Not being snarky but have you bene watching the news. Migrants are absolutely not being expelled quickly back to Mexico. There are camps being set up and they are absolutely being sent to different states....and these are the ones that are "caught" so to speak. There are plenty of migrants crossing over and going to friends and family. The border is an absolute shit show and even the liberal media is acknowledging that. Not a good look during a pandemic.

Trump did Operation Warp Speed in order to get the vaccinations rolled out quickly but other than that I don't think there is anything this administration or any other administration could do to end this pandemic quicker.
This is not true. Title 42 is still in place and that was a Trump era policy. Illegally entering migrants are being immediately expelled to Mexico. Link CNN
I guess they missed where Harris decided to go to the border but was NO WHERE NEAR the border and the area of all the problems.
If they push it under the rug, why wouldn't you think the American people would also.

Immigrants ARE our problem now as they are around everyone else just as much as your fellow American. Do you think they come into the country and just form their own community and see no one else but whom they came with?
You don't believe in vaccines for anyone so why are YOU worried about unvaccinated immigrants being around you?
To my own point, the immigrant population is a FAR smaller population of people compared to the LARGE population of moron Americans in this country running around not giving a cr@p about COVID, whining about masks and refusing vaccines. Immigrants are the LEAST of my worries. We're self destructing as a nation without any "help" from the dreaded, diseased and sick immigrants some are so fearful of.
Please do NOT put words in my mouth as I NEVER said that. Trying to make me look bad is not going to work.
Go look up to see how many have crossed the border and let me know "small" you consider that to be. I am not afraid of anyone, so you should really put in your post, "in general". I do agree though that they can be part of the problem.
I don't need to *try* to make you look bad, you do a fine job of that all on your own every time you post your nonsense.
I would think you would be NICER since your hubby came home.
I pity you.
But back to the discussion at hand...................
NOBODY has ever brought up my personal life? Wow, you have a very bad memory.
If I was unhappy, insecure and envious I would be cursing people out and calling them names and acting like a bully towards them.
Right... you always take the high road.. like stalking and posting peronal tidbits of information on the boards for all to see. Why do you get off on the stalking thing?

I disliked trump but i didn’t necessarily blame him For what went on with the virus! I think the problem isn’t on on person to be able to solve. Everyone has to work together.
What is it that can be done. We all go on lockdown again and will people really listen?
Also not sure what immigrants coming into the country even has to do with uptick? Do we really think that’s the reason numbers are out of control again?

Yes, I do watch the news but more so read the news. I don't deny that the increase in the migrants at the border is staggering. But I have not read articles in which there is statements of illegal migrants being transported to other states. All the articles I am reading, including the WSJ, the illegal crossing migrants are being immediately expelled. Those that are coming and and not being caught are no different then the ones doing such in previous administrations. Only unaccompanied minors are being allowed to stay and they are being shifted to other states. Link

Harris went to El Paso, TX which is on the border. I don't necessarily agree with the policy or lack there of. I do agree with the stance that the source needs to be addressed and that would mean adding stability and eliminating corruption and crime in the home countries. Again, I don't think the border crisis is being pushed under the rug - I think it's so immense of a humanitarian crisis that it's almost impossible to keep up.
