Walking Shoes
When do you get them? Hailey is starting to pull herself up on things and move in her walker. At what point do I have her fitted for walking shoes? And do I go to Stride Rite? TIA

Re: Walking Shoes
I wouldn't get shoes until they are walking for at least a month (thats my opinion personally...) stick with booties or (my favorite) Robeez until they are walking and then get some shoes. You can get some cruisers or crawlers...but its good to let their feet grow naturally for a while first!

Re: Walking Shoes
The doctor says barefoot is the best. When she's really walking, I'd take her to Stride Rite.

I agree! My doctor said the same.

Re: Walking Shoes
Thanks. I forgot to ask the doctor and we don't go back until she is 10 months and I have a feeling she will be walking by then. I will hold off and keep her barefoot.

Re: Walking Shoes
She doesn't need walking shoes until you are ready to let her walk outside. They aren't needed for support inside, just to protect from cuts/cold when you are out.
