Wallpaper removal question
We started removing wallpaper in our living room yesterday and the wallpaper is coming off easy, but the glue needs some pressure. We are spraying a dif combination and I am not sure if we are actually even doing this right. We have some little imprints from the putty knife from scraping. Is this normal? Both DH and I have no experience. We don't even know if we are actually taking off the glue = AHHHH this is so annoying - Aside from the fact that this is going to take FOREVER!!!!
ETS: I am a related topic from 3 years ago!!! Obviously you can see we never did this!

Re: Wallpaper removal question
Fabric softener and warm water in a spray bottle, soak the walls, let it sit(about 15-20 min) and it should come right off

Re: Wallpaper removal question
I believe I did 1/2 and 1/2. You need to get a paper tiger and score the paper gently 1st. Then spray down a few sections at a time and let sit. Remove paper Most likely the backing will stay on the wall Resoak and scrape off with scraper or putty knife being careful to not gauge the walls
I did an entire bedroom(with 2 layers of paper) in about 2 1/2 hours.
