Want to introduce a Children's Bible to my kids...
which book do you recommend?
My girls are 5 and 3.
We go to church often and in a couple years my oldest starts religion instruction - BUT - I find myself not being able to answer all of their questions about GOD and stories of the bible.
Thanks.

Re: Want to introduce a Children's Bible to my kids...
They have a ton at B&N..
my kids have this one and they really enjoy the stories.. it's not drawn out but rather short and sweet and written in a way that's understandable to them

Re: Want to introduce a Children's Bible to my kids...
We used this one: Beginner's Bible
We also use modern day parables to draw parallels to the bible stories and make them more relevant. Max Lucado is great for this. I'd recommend "Because I Love You" and "Because You Are Mine" and "Children's Treasury"

THANKS! I have been struggling with this in the past few weeks and I just ordered this. I am a lapsed Catholic school girl...I realized I was in trouble when I had to explain God, death, and heaven to her and man, I could barely string a coherent sentence together.
Thanks again.
