Warning: kind of ridiculous, totally too early, Elf on the Shelf question
I know, I know... Halloween & Thanksgiving come first and I'm crazy for even thinking about this now but
Is your elf a girl or a boy? If you have a DD & DS do you have 2 elves?
This will be the first year the elf visits our house. Dd is 3. I want to get a girl elf. DS is only 7 months. I figured when hes older, a 2nd elf (a boy elf) will come to watch him... That way they can each have an elf... Is this insanity? I've been looking forward to starting this tradition for 3 years now...I might be going overboard.

Haha. I have 2 DS and a DD. We have a boy elf. We got a boy because DSis the oldest. We are only doing one for the family :)

I have no plans of doing the elf on the shelf thing BUT my 2 nieces have one boy elf- according to my youngest niece's explanation to my dd (who is barely seven months old lol) Santa sends one elf to each house- apparently there is a cartoon that stars the elf in the shelf.

Get just one. I guarantee you will saying "Oh ****, I forgot to move the damn elf" about 2 weeks in! Two would be my nightmare!
