Same reason why you shouldn't post registry info, last name info and daycare center info here. Some girls don't post pics anymore either. Sick people are out there and they read things here too 
exactly why I don't post any info or large pics of me or my family, there are unstable people ou there and they could be right in our backyards

they just said on the news she was reunited with her parents. She was found in an abandoned house.

My SIL got one for me when my son was born. I came home and freaked out!!! I told my mom and my dh to take some pics and get that thing off my lawn. I felt so bad that my SIL had done something nice for me and I acted that way. We agreed to keep it up for the week that my mom and dh would be home with me 24/7. But I was glad to see it go.

Back in 2003 when I had my son the dischrage nurse at StonyBrook warned me about it. I totally freaked out because I knew my parents would want to get me one. I called them and told them to cancel it.
