Re: Was your gut instinct right about gender?

Yes, but that is because we jokingly looked at the chinese gender predictor chart and it said a boy, so I was persuaded to believe that. Right before our Level II sono I had a doubt that it might just be a girl, and we actually weren't going to find out the gender but when I saw him on the monitor and the doctor said the baby was in the right position if we wanted to know, so we decided to find out! He was indeed a Boy! Chat Icon

I would of sworn boy.

I was wrong!

Same for me - DH kept saying it was a girl but I didn't believe him.

Ok, I'm not going to lie, I was hoping that I would have a girl. I know, I know, I shouldn't have hoped that, but I did. So, I think to offset the fact that I really wanted a girl, I convinced myself I was having a boy, but secretly, I knew I was having a girl. If you've followed that, then my answer is YES, my gut was correctChat Icon

Haha...me too all the way, except I never "knew" I was having a girl. That and the fact that we had 6 nephews and no nieces, so assumed we would add to the masculinity!! So, totally wrong!

With Lauren my gut was girl all the way and obviously I was right. At first with this one I say boy, but now I am leaning towards girl. Who knows.

NO! We were convinced our baby would be a boy- and so was everyone else! We were shocked and sooo thrilled when the doctor announced that it was a girl!! What a huge surprise it was to everyone!!!
