Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
So I looked at all the care instructions and some are machine wash cold, delicate and tumble dry low.
I am now on my second cycle of "low drying" and it's not getting dry. Can I put it on medium just to get it going???
It's not clothes, just some bedding type stuff, etc.

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
Eh, I don't know - My delicate dry cycle usually takes a lot longer than the 'normal' cycles ........
I'd just be afraid to shrink anything before I even got to use it - KWIM?

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
I am just thinking how annoying this is going to be when I actually really need the stuff clean!
I guess I am halfway through another 50 mins... if it still doesn't get dry, I am going to put it on Medium for like 10 mins just to get some heat in there.

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
I have been doing Delicate dry and the stuff is taking forever to dry. I upped it and then had to go buy more because of severe shinkage. Loose/loose.

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
It's usually best to follow drying instructions cause you run the risk of shrinkage. Also, if stuff says you can wash warm it usually means it won't shrink when drying. If it's wash cold, chances are it will shrink when drying....just something to keep in mind.

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
I hear you... I did everything on low too and it took two cycles. Even with following the instructions, I think I had some shrinkage

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
I wash all of DS's clothes and sheets etc in cold water, and dry everything on high in the dryer.
Never had a problem with anything.

Same here. I have been doing it for years.

Re: Washing Baby Stuff-- Question about drying
thanks everyone-- it got dry after two rounds in the dryer... I'll need to play it by ear, but I can see that being a HUGE PITA when you are doing a lot of laundry and you just need clean stuff.
Now, I am just leisurely washing some stuff-- so, it's different... yet it still annoys me!!
