Washing Britax Marathon Cover
Has anyone done it in the washing machine? The instructions say to hand wash, but I feel like that will take forever to dry. At least the washing machine will spin it dry.

Karen-I always put them in the washer and dryer (despite the washing label instructions-I'm a rebel like that LOL) and they always come out fine. I have 2 and I've washed them countless times.

I washed mine in the washing machine but then let it air dry. My sister put hers in the dryer and something melted on it.

Re: Washing Britax Marathon Cover
Thanks ladies! It is absolutely filthy, so I wanted to use the washing machine. There is no way I would have gotten it clean enough hand washing it.
I'm debating the dryer - I do have an air setting, but it's only for 20 minutes at a time.

Re: Washing Britax Marathon Cover
I washed and dried in the machines. I just used the gentle (delicate) cycle and dried it on low.
Came out fine, didn't shrink or get ruined.

Re: Washing Britax Marathon Cover
Success! I machine washed it on gentle and dried it on low. It came out like brand-new! Now that I know how to do it, I have to do it more often. 1 year was just too long to go .
Thanks everyone for your help!!

Same here. I've only had to wash DD's once, but when I did I washed it on the gentle cycle and put it outside to dry.

We do ours in the washing machine and then let it air dry. It has always been fine.
