We also had a hard time with Aqua actually coming to turn our water on. It had been off for a while and they claimed to turn it on, however it didn;t work and they were nasty about coming back to re-do it :(

We are both South of Hempstead Turnpike, off of Wantagh Ave.
I lived around here too right by Island Trees Middle School until about 4 years ago and don't remember Aqua or water being at all expensive. I would call the TOH number one PP provided and they can tell you if you are in that zone.
I lived by Levittown library in the mid 1990's and remembered it being TOH water. Right now I live off of Newbridge Rd in Levittown/Hicksville border with my MIL and she says it is also TOH for water. So not ALL of Levittown is Aqua.

wow, we have Aqua, and our bills are pretty low. i guess we just don't use a lot. Our last bill was $28.65 for two months.

My bills are usually around $34 for 2 months. I don't think that is bad, but I have never paid for water before (this is our 1st house).
I wish there was such an outcry for doing something about our taxes. $17/month I can handle, $11,000 a year for taxes is a little more of a problem for me.

Exactly..
Even $60 for a month is doable compared to what you pay for electric/gas/oil and other utilities.
I pay about $16 every 2 months - we have Long Island American Water Co.

im in north merrick and aqua charged us $90 for the past 2.5 months!!!! its just 2 of us. NO dishwasher and we do like 3 loads of laundry every OTHER week. yeah we have sprinklers, but we even switched them to every 2 days and it doesnt go on when it rains. SO HOW IS IT SO MUCH MONEY!?!? Aqua should be shot!

We're in Seaford and have Aqua. Our bills for the summer were like $120 for the last 2 months or so. In the winter, they go down to around $70 or so.
And I don't get their quick turnaround as far as requesting payments.
