Re: Water taste bad
I just started drinking water mixed with like lemon or juice mix at 36 weeks. I had a horrible aversion to water the entire pregnancy, it would make me gag or throw up.
The dr's said its very common in Pregnancy.

Re: Water taste bad
Sometimes I'll eat watermelon if I can't drink a lot of water.

Re: Water taste bad
I am back to hating water. I had a week or two in there where I liked it. DH yells at me because the doc said I'm not drinking enough so when I get home, I load up on ice pops, not great with the sugar, but still, it's something.

Re: Water taste bad
I was having the same problem and I tried the naturally flavored Seltzer. It is sooooooo much better and easier to get down than water. I love the wild cherry. I buy the brand called Vintage. It is in a blue box (12)pack and is around $2.99 for 12 cans. I also really like the orange flavor and raspberry. I am not a big fan of the lemon/lime one though. Give it a try. I know some delis sell the bottles of Seagrams flavored seltzer which is good too but can get expensive at 1.75 per 16 oz bottle.

Re: Water taste bad
Wow, we are all so different! I drink a lot more water being pregnant, as I am always thirsty. I did have one day where I could not hold it down and I thought that was it and I would not go back to having so much of it. I slowed down my water intake at that point but it is still a lot. However, I am very picky about my water. It must be ice cold and very fresh. Oh, and lemon flavor seems to help everything, so try a small amount in your water. Or, try eating ices just to get some water.
