There is the bus driver (of course) and a bus aide that will put the toddler in the carseat. Pick up in front of home Drop off in front of home.
Would any of you have a problem with this? Do you think 3 is too young to ride the bus (just turned 3)?

I don't think there's any problem with it at all!

I actually wouldn't be comfortable with this personally (I am neurotic about cars, I'll admit it!)....but if YOU are comfortable that's all that matters!

same here. But, I don't even like my DH to drive my kids around. Cars make me nutty.

Re: WDYT A just turned 3 year old taking the bus to school?
Thanks for all your replies. I have 5 months to decide (lol) so you can tell I am uncomfortable too but at the same time I understand at some point there has to be a seperation.
I'm hearing great things about the preschool that is doing this and how they are so nice on the bus. I think I might drive him there and when it's time to leave he will see other kids going on their bus and he will just follow the heard. Then eventually I will have him go on both ways. Maybe I'll do the drop off for about a week until he gets used to being on a bus.
Thanks again for your replies I just needed to hear what other moms thought about this, how they would feel.
