we are closing on our refinance today--saving $650 a month!!!
i am so excited. we close today at 5.
our old rate was 7.148 and our new rate is 4.75 it's saving us over $650 a month which is HUGE!!!!
the closing costs are expensive, especially since we're switching banks, but we'll recoup that cost in about 12 months.
we're switching from coldwell banker to wells fargo and are very happy

she almost went down 3% that is huge!
I just got someone from 9.375% to 5% and they are almost saving that much on a $200K loan (modifcation not re-fi)
there payment was $1850
and it's now $1275
