We had a fun trip upstate (millions of pics)
I grew up in the Catskills and my mom still lives there. It's GORGEOUS there...so we made a quick weekend trip.
I wanted to do so many pics of DD sitting in leaves, and other things with her and the scenery, but she just wouldn't sit still, just wanted to run & run-- I think she's a country girl at heart!
This was right before we left, but I love her face, she was being tickled by the hanging plant

And now, some foliage pics.
Unfortunately, at my mom's house in the mountains, we were about a week past peak, so there were lots of leaves gone already. But on our way up (and where we went to the festival) there was more at peak.
Again, I wish I got more pics of DD enjoying the season, but the girl just wanted to run!

She's got a natural stream in her yard, it's in the middle of the pic-- the dogs love to swim in it year round
Man, I miss living there in fall...too bad I didn't appreciate it as much when I lived there.

Take a trip upstate! It's at the old Woodstock festival site, they have a whole new center built there- Bethel Woods Center for Performing Arts. The pic was taken where they have the fall festival, not sure if you could get on that property when the festival's not going on though...You never know!
