we just booked....disney related
our chef mickey dinner!!!  its getting so real that we are going to disney! it feels sooo far away
eta: which park would you do the day we do this dinner?

Love chef mickeys!! We've only done the breakfast but I've wanted to do the dinner as well. Enjoy!!!
IMO - I would probably want to do a mid-week dinner as Mondays and Fridays/Weedends tend to have the biggest attendance. We actually got stuck in the back room in January since we had such a big party (9 people) and the place was jampacked at 8:30am

We did Magic Kingdom and took the monorail over to the Contemporary, and then after dinner took the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom for the fireworks and light parade (don't remember the actual name of it but it was great!)

Have you checked the park calender over on the WDW website. Depending on when you are eating you could finish, take the monorail or you can walk to the MK from the Contemporary and go to the MK parade and fireworks if they are scheduled for that evening.
When is your ADR? If it is early (close to when they open) you can go early get your photo taken and be there to watch the opening ceremony at Chef Mickey's (they pick a family to "open" the character dinner) - it is just a little ceremony with Mickey and friends.

Spectromagic is back on Thursday nights (as of a month ago it was only Thursday night). Or you could see the wishes fireworks show any night after your dinner
