Weaning 1 year old DS off formula... have an important milk question...
I have been gradually weaning my DS off formula ( he will be 1 year on THURSDAY!!) but wanted to ask how many ounces of milk he should be consuming once he is off formula completely.
Normally, he takes 3 8 oz bottles of formula a day. Right now he is on 3 8 oz bottles with a ratio of 6:2 (6 oz milk and 2 oz formula). Since he will be on full milk in a few days... I would love to hear how many ounces of pure milk your 1 year old is consuming a day.

My Ped said don't go over 21oz a day.
DS drinks (3) 6oz of milk a day

No more than 21 oz a day my ped said.
DD usually does between 15-18 oz milk per day

not more than 21oz b/c it effects iron
