Wearing flip flops to a baby shower, is this a no no?
It's being held at a casual restauraunt in the afternoon. Will be wearing a nice short sleee knit top with capri pants. My DH thinks I'm crazy for even thinking about wearing them...the thing is I can't find my nice pair of sandals. I've looked everywhere in my home. I did find brand new never been worn flip flops  . So do you think I should just hit a Target in the early am and get a decent pair of sandals?

if they are dressy flip flops then I would say ok - if they are rubber/plastic ones, then no.

Personally, I would never even notice what's on your feet. It's July, the whole world is wearing flip flops. Besides, it's a baby shower not the governor's ball .....be comfy and enjoy yourself

I say go for it. If you had another pair at home it would be one thing...I would say no. But to have to run out in the morning beforehand to buy something...not worth it. I have those in 3 colors...they're rubber but a shiny gold so it makes them dressier...lol.

I wouldn't wear shower shoe/pedicure type flip flops but I think nicer ones would be ok.

I personally wouldn't. I wear those for home or pedicures only. There are so many cute and comfy and cheap "flip flop" styles out there now that aren't foam.

I wore white leather flip flops from Ann taylor a couple of weeks ago to an outdoor baby shower. I think several people had flip flops on.
