Personally, I would never even notice what's on your feet. It's July, the whole world is wearing flip flops. Besides, it's a baby shower not the governor's ball .....be comfy and enjoy yourself
i agree! I just wore flip flops to a shower on Saturday. I doubt anyone gasped and said "I cant believe she is wearing flip flops"

go for it..as long as you are dressy on top flip flops are universal these days...(IMO) I have my beach ones (plastic/foam) and my "dressy" ones (cloth or metallic or ones that have a shell type thing on the thong part, etc) but i really don't think it is a big deal to wear either out...the only time i have NOT been in flip flops since April is when I go for a run!

If they are dressy flip flops then thats fine. If they are those $2.99 flip flops from Old Navy then thats a big no no.
When ever I had to dress up to go any place, I think about how I would feel if someone showed up to my party dressed like me.

Why would anyone care what someone else is wearing on their feet? As long as they (and your feet!) aren't filthy I say go for it!

I agree...if my outfit looks cute and calls for flip flops I will rock my flip flops.

I've done it. I think they're fine as long as they're not too worn out.

Re: Wearing flip flops to a baby shower, is this a no no?
I wouldn't wear the casual ones with plastic straps to a shower. Even though the party is somewhat casual, it's still someone's special occasion so why not dress up a little?
