wedding gift question
We have a wedding tomorrow in Connecticut. The wedding starts at 12. How much would you give for a couple?

It would depend on my relationship with the couple, not the location or time.
If it was "friends" I would probably give $300 from DH and I. Closer friends or family more. HTH

I am basically giving what she gave me for my wedding last year $200. We are also staying over at a hotel.

that would be funny if it were the same one!
see, we got married 4 years ago...and her parents gave a check for them,her, her brother and their dates...so I can't really figure it out (she was around 25-26 at the time)

I would give the same as you would for a wedding on LI. My son got married in Connecticut 2 years ago and the gifts he got were the same as you would get for a wedding here.

I would give what you can afford and also based on how close you are with her- when we are in the wedding party- we usually give about $350, close friends about $250, and then others around $200
