Re: Wedding "price per person" poll.

I'd say that's average. But then again, I really only looked one place for my wedding, so maybe I'm not the one to askChat Icon

Re: Wedding "price per person" poll.

Including taxes and tip I say that's average for LI.

We paid less than that for a sat night in June '06, but not much less.

Her wedding is in Westchester, but I know the prices are pretty comparable.

with tip and gratuity (thats what hurts),
140 isnt bad at all. Id say its average to even a bargain.

Re: Wedding "price per person" poll.

I would say it is about average to a little below average for a Saturday night in peak months and a little high for a Saturday in off-peak months. Though it also depends on which place she is getting married at.

I got married in Westchester on a Saturday night in June 2006 and paid a decent amount less because I booked my wedding only 5 months before the date. If I had been paying full price, I think it would have been around $150 with tax and tip. I also looked at a bunch of places for a Saturday during the off months and it was definitely less than $140.

I think that's pretty [above] average. I got married May 02 on a Saturday and paid about $90 pp, but not including tax and tips and service fees.

I'd say expensive, but I'm out of date on wedding prices. When I was looking $136 was the pre-construction prices at Carlyle on the Green.

I didn't opt for Carlyle & went for the January wedding instead. It was almost 40% off the regular price when you opt for an off-season wedding.

Re: Wedding "price per person" poll.

If it includes tax and tip then I would say just about average - maybe on the lows end of the expensive side.
