Wedding shower gift related question
Is it rude to give a giftcard?
The groom is a distant cousin of mine. We are not very close with them. They have been living together for quite a while, and all of the stuff on their registry is extremely fine china and a small fortune - I would spend that much on a wedding gift but not for a shower.
I was thinking of just getting them a $100 giftcard to BBB. Even though they are living together, I figured there is always something there you can use.
Is that tacky?

ITA i received many GC for my shower, it was great bc I didnt have room for all my gifts
