Re: weight gain at 24 weeks.
I had an appoitnment at 23 weeks and I was up 11lbs, at 26 weeks I was up 14.
I'm 29 weeks today, and went for my GD discussion with the Diabetic Dietician. She weighed me and it doesn't look like I gained any weight since 26 weeks. I do have my 30 week appointment on Monday, so we'll see how that goes (especailly after Turkey Day!)

Re: weight gain at 24 weeks.
Everyone is different, and everyone has an opinion.
Talk to your Dr re: your weight gain, and go by what makes YOU feel comfortable. - Don't let anyone tell you that you gained WAY too much (or not enough) unless it's your Doctor who has some kind of cause for concern.
At 20 weeks I've gained about 3 lbs. -
My Dr. said it was fine for me to gain the normal 25 - 35 lbs, but I was almost 35 lbs over my comfortable weight pre pregnancy so I am being very careful about what I eat. b/c for ME, I don't thnk it would be healthy for me OR baby if I gained an additional 30+ lbs. If the Dr. tells me differently, I'll up my calories, but for now he said I'm fine.

Re: weight gain at 24 weeks.
Again, like PP said, everyone is different. Some people gain practically nothing, while others gain significantly - and it can all be OK. Just speak with your doctor if you are concerned you are gaining too much. With me, I found that my weight gain leveled off. I have still gained, but not at the rate I was earlier. 18 weeks - 10lbs 22 weeks - 17lbs 26 weeks - 20lbs 30 weeks - 24lbs 31 weeks - 24lbs
That one appointment where i gained 7 lbs in 4 weeks i was a little concerned also, but my doc was fine with it. He explained the baby needs me to gain weight - so I was more comfortable after that. HTH.

I swear I'm the most backwards a$$ pregnant woman.

Re: weight gain at 24 weeks.
I'm 22.5 weeks and have not gained any weight since pre-pregnancy.
However, I did lose 10 pounds during my first trimester so I gained all that weight back.
