First of all your dr. sounds like a jerk. Don't make yourself feel bad. Your body gains what it needs for the baby. If you aren't gaining a lot its not bc the baby isn't growing or gaining weight. You are prob. losing and the baby is gaining. You should be proud of yourself. This really bothers me. I don't consider myself "plus" but I am not small either. I would yell back at that dr.

Nest time you go for a sono drink so OJ

That doesn't sound right to me. Two pounds in 19 weeks is nothing. You are definitely eating healthier or less calories than before. I have a friend who was probably 280 when she got pregnant and her doctor was proud of her for changing her diet and only gaining 17 lbs. Sorry you are dealing with this. You don't need a doc making you feel like crap.

With my first child ,, my staring weight was 7 stone 3 at 12 weeks at the time i was a national trampolinist by the end of my pregnancy i had gained 4 stone ,,, Im currently 17 weeks pre with my second and after not looking any of my previously gained four stone i i have lost half a stone in the last 3 weeks ,, apparently its all fine and not to panic personally if my doctor had a go at me for my weight or was rude i wld tell them where to go fair enough if they give u advice bt at the end of the day the fact u haven't gained wld mean u have lost up until u gained the two pounds ,,, as long as pay is healthy i wldnt worry chick xx

I might have to speak in stones from this point forward when it comes to my weight. Makes it sound so much better :)
