up 35 pounds.

I'm like you. I'm 27+ weeks and up close to 30 pounds. I swear it's all in my belly though. I don't look like I have gained anywhere else.
Honestly, I eat healthy and I don't eat a lot so I know I am doing the right things regardless of my gain. Let's enjoy

Honestly, with my 1st- I ate whatever I wanted... very little "healthy" things...
vs.
this pregnancy- Im really watching what I eat/how much I eat... drinking lots of water etc...
Im following the same gaining pattern... a tiny bit less this time around...
I think it is, what it is- no matter what you eat...

I know it sounds stupid, but the nurses at my Doc's office never takes off a pound for clothes. I could be in a full coat and tons of layers and if it's at the halfway mark they go up. 
I'm 30 weeks and gained about 18 pounds.
Not stupid at all! They always look at me like I am crazy when I want to take my shoes off!
I always take my shoes off too ... and dress lightly!! LOL!
ETA: And I don't mind if I've gained weight but I don't want to get yelled at for gaining weight that is really just my shoes/clothes or their scale being different than mine!!
totally agree.
i just strip down as much as i can even though they look at me like i'm nuts
oh, and i'm 20 weeks and up about 3lbs.

27 weeks today... and as of my 24 week appt I was up 22 lbs.. 
But even the Nurse said alot of it was water retention.. I am soooo swollen, I look like the Marshmallow Man from Ghost Busters..
And it's only getting worse........

i am starting to think the same.
last preg i had bad m/s and lost 10 pounds which i had to gain back. this time i lost only a couple pounds in the first tri.
yet i have gained the EXACT same amount of weight this preg at this time point as i had gained last time around at this time.
i mean, i think if you eat a TON more you can influence the weight gain, but i'm really starting to think that your body is programmed to gain a certain amount. i don't know, just my experience...
