weird ebay emails
I just got 4 different emails from ebay sellers saying that i bid on an unlocked ipod. What the heck? i dont even have an ebay account linked to that email address! how is this possible??? is this some kinda scam?

Report them right away. They are Phishing to see if you respond to them, don't respond to them. Contact Ebay's fraud dept. Search Phishing on their help site!

oh no! i emailed them back saying i dont have an ebay account and to leave me alone. was that bad? what do i do?

ok i just searched the item # they reference and someone with my name (its a common name) created an account 2 days ago but lives in canada. do they just email every email address hoping that it works and get a response???

If you don't have an ebay account, they won't ruin your ebay profile, but I would still look on ebays help website and email them and let them know.

yea i looked it up where you said and it gives an email address to forward the emails to and they'll investigate it.
so random! i hate scams!!!!
