that is really wierd!!
I had something like this happen to me years ago...I had a woman call me and ask my why did her husband spend Christmas with me???  Huh?? what the hell are you talking about lady....I was with my fiance at Christmas. She told me her husbands name....but I didnt know it. She said that he had my name and number in his phone book. I asked her where she was from and she said Canada.
I have no idea how someone from Canada would have had my name and phone number. It freaked me out for a long time!!

just to be on the safe side, call experion or one of the other credit unions and have them put a watch on your credit for fraud and request a free credit report.
that is very strange. also, shred all your mail w/ your name on it and all credit card applications, etc.

We just pulled a credit report last week, so we're clear and we're paranoid shredders. Thanks for the suggestions!!!

no prob.
we've been getting strange phonecalls from someone that purports to be from a debt collection agency, so we did the fraud watch on our credit last week.

I agree with the peoplefinders.com. I just looked myself up and me, my dad, mom, sister and dh came up. You can find ANYONE doing this. If she paid money she could find anything out.
That site is WEIRD!!
I looked up my maiden name and it listed four names that have nothing to do with me as possible roommates/associates ... I assume they are other people who lived at my address. BIZARRO!!!

Yes, but it doesn't tell you death dates. The OP said the lady mentioned that she knew about people that had passed. I'd call her back. It will cure your curiousity if anything else.

Wow- that is weird. I did it to & it listed my family members & for my parents-- it listed the town they previously lived in, which was 32 years ago!
I'm curious though, it says there are 2 unique addresses for me, in 1 of the town I used to live in, but I only had 1 apartment there. I almsot want to buy my own record!

Very true but you can go on another website and find that out. Not sure of the name but I have looked up my grandmother on it.

I might go to the police station on this one. I would see what they think. I think it's very strange she knew about the death of your Grandfather & all that other info.

Nope no updates. I spoke to my mom and she knows someone who's husband does these kind of background searches as a "hobbie" (who knew?!). I'm trying to push it to the back of my mind because if I don't I'll continue to scare myself into thinking this missing man will just appear in my apt... nothing scarier and creepier than a missing person.
I just hope she doesn't call again...
