I there anyone else out there with this set?
Or knows someone with it?
Are they going though my same problems as on my profile?
Did theirs fall apart?
Toys R Us put a stop sale on this set,,,, someone must see something is wrong...
Only a few had responded that had this set...

Let me preface this with:
I am so sorry your daughter was hurt- and I am extremely thankful that she is OK. I can't imagine how upsetting that incident had been.
That said, I don't understand- didn't you say that BRU/TRU will no longer sell the crib?
Wasn't that what you were looking for?
Why are you continuing to post about this when it's obvious no one else (at least on here) has had problems with this crib? Is it at all possible that prehaps your crib was defective, not the whole line of Bellisimo cribs?

I so sorry you all feel that way... Right now I am the only person in the United States spreading this message....that I am aware of....
If I reach only one person a day that might not have seen this the day before....I am happy,,, What if that person was you who had their child in this crib.... BRU hasn't went on the air yet with this. So I am. I am not looking for glory but a peace of mind at the end of the day.
I thought there would be more support.
If I stop posting and someone gets hurt what would your conscience say?????

I'm glad your daughter wasn't hurt in the incident and it sounds like they did what you wanted, so by continuing to post about it, well you are just being annoying now.

I can't imagine going through something like this and trying to see if what happened to your child happened to other people. I'm very sorry for your family.
You might want to try on a national parenting board. This is so localized that there really aren't that many families on it, a couple hundred I'd guess. With the number of cribs that are available on the market the odds are slim that you'd find someone with the same one here.
Good luck, I hope you get the resolution you are looking for.

I don't understand the repeated posting either. I see that you want to warn everyone & if you can save one child from getting hurt, you're going to do it but how many times do you plan on posting the same thing? I do plan on passing the posts by if you're going to repeatedly post the same thing but the day you are looking for help with something, most of us won't be looking at your post thinking it's a Wendy Bellissimo crib bash again.
I'm sorry your daughter got hurt but it does seem like they're doing everything they can do remedy the situation.
I would think the crib wasn't delivered completely in tact & that the blame would lie more with the person (or persons) who assembled the crib more than anyone else.

That is cold... Do you think that if I saw cracks in the wood at the time of assembly I would have let my child sleep in this. These holes were drilled so close to the edge that all she really had to do was bump it good a few times before it would give.... when assembling this we followed the instructions to the letter. Joe Bellissimo was astonished and appalled by these pictures himself.
Also yes,,,I have been on other forums... Maybe once a day I will post,,the most twice.
I don't see why this could bother some so much... Don't you all care of others that might not have seen this? Do you really believe everyone registered logs on at the same time everyday? My little old post is nothing compare to others who have posted thousands of times.
I will stop posting this week. Please if you care, just pass by my posts if you see "CAHARTUNG".
I have been an active duty serviceman for 16 years now and have never seen such a response to someone trying to help.
I'm sorry, this will be the last time I respond to this subject.

Have you tried to contact the local/national news? Consumer report, child advocacy group, etc.?

Everybody from my local news paper, congressman, attorney general to the associated press has been notified.
No one will deal with it until the CPSC recalls it,,, even though Toy R Us stopped selling it... This week I believe we will all hear something...

LIFamilies is not going to be the place to get your word across---its not "blogs" per se...
I checked out your myspace page and you posted you were banned from here..why return?
IT appears you got the resolution you wanted--to get this crib pulled from TRU and BRU. What else are you looking to do about this now?

You say you are trying to help- but you're not doing anything other than bashing a whole company for one crib. You haven't specified WHICH crib. Bellisimo makes MANY convertable cribs.
Additionally- this is a COMMUNITY. I can totally undestand making one post on both Parenting and Pregnancy, but by not contributing to this community other than posting the same thing, day after day (and therefore bumping other threads off the front page), you are not helpng your cause.
I also have issue with the fact that you seem to think your account was deactivated because of some "conspiracy theory". You OBVIOUSLY do not know the owners of this site. Ron and Kim and the rest of the LIF family have done more for itheir LIF members than one could imagine. So PLEASE- don't be insulting. The fact that you were allowed back on just goes to show how much they care.
Again, I am ASKING you..... do you know FOR SURE that this wasn't a case of ONE defective crib? Just because one crib wasn't constructed properly doesn't mean that a whole line should be recalled. ESPECIALLY if you have yet to find anyone who had the same problem.

O.K. this is getting totally out of control.
This is the Wendy Bellissimo Convertable Crib,,,Maple Color Style # 945-521.
I am not bashing at all I am telling the facts. If this was your child involved,, how would you react... My cause is to find that one person who doesn't know. Would you lhave liked to see another or your child in this situation?
I was born and raised in Queens, NY. I joined the US Coast Gaurd at 21... I have dedicated my life, over 16 years, to them so far and to our country. I have dedicated my life to communities I have never heard of.

Why did Toys R Us suddenly stop this week selling this crib? Call around and ask for atleast parts for one. You won't find them.

40 Days now.........................
It has been 40 days since I have reported this issue.
40 days since they have been aware of this crib being a danger....
I anybody is bored. I please ask that you contact your local Babies R Us and find out why this was taken out of the stores. Ask for parts or what ever. I would love to know their excuse.

Hi -
I think women on here tend to shy away from someone posting with a specific "agenda" - especially when the posts are on every board.
Its one thing if you chatted us up a bit - contributed to the boards, talked a little about your family, have us get to know you a bit.... but aggressively posting this one specific issue - as traumatic as it must have been to you, your daughter, and your family - tends to do the opposite of what you are hoping to achieve. You are pushing people away, and people wonder if you are a real poster...
Look - we all have encountered faulty stuff. Things that were not assembled properly. We all have had bad experiences with things. If you are starting this one man crusade, and the only man in america to speak up about this issue, well - you may be the only one who has had this experience, so its not going to go anywhere.
this is the sad truth - it takes several incidents to create a recall. when you read up on recalls - it never says "one child has been injured/died..." it always states several cases. This is how it has to be to create change....
I'm sorry we arent giving you what you want when you post... maybe if you post other questions or issues, we may be able to answer you and help you in some other area?

This kind of reply will earn you no sympathy. I think it's clear we all feel badly that your daughter (almost?) got hurt, but it almost feels as if you're blaming US! What exactly do you want from this community??

That is okay, I have received more than enough private emails thanking me. They are actually embarrassed and are apologetic of the responses I have received.
I think a lot of people don't want others to see because they don't want to get shot at either...
I also have responded to other posts helping out where I can.

I am very sorry for what happened to you and your daughter. Thank god she was not hurt.
This being said - and I am in NO WAY trying to be rude or heartless - but what do you expect to get from repeatedly posting this on here? I saw your post - and I've told the pregnant people that I know about it. But, we are not this National site where you are going to reach millions. The same girls come on here everyday. We are all aware of your story and what happened.
Is there something you would like us to do other then pass the word along - because that I have already done.
Again, I am sorry - but I don't really know what you are looking to get by posting on this site (and the Parenting board)
