western suffolk/eastern nassau restaurant
I'm looking for advice on a place to hold DS's 1st birthday. The party is a pretty big deal in DH's family, and they're generally done at pretty nice places. However, I can't afford what I spent on his Christening. Any places with good food and affordable prices within a reasonable distance from Farmingdale? Thanks!

How about:
56th Fighter Squadron (Farmingdale) Bella Napoli (Farmingdale) Palmer's American Grill (Farmingdale) Black Forest Brew Haus (Farmingdale) Bellissimo Resturant (Amityville) **** & Dora's (Massapequa) Sergio's (Massapequa)
I think all or most of these have private rooms for parties!
Good Luck with your search!

Thanks! I've looked these and up and it looks like some great options, in terms of price. Have you been to a party at any of these?

Katie Daly's massapequa, Bulldog Cafe Amityville, Hudson's Mill massapequa.
They all do a good job. I have been to a nice party at Bella Napoli too.

Re: western suffolk/eastern nassau restaurant
We had DD's first birthday upstairs at the Bulldog in Amityville and they did a great job.
We had about 70 people and there was room for the entertainment we had, circle time for the kids with DD's music together teacher.
