What a month... a vent
I haven't posted much because I have been a zombie all month, plus dealing with a home sale/purchase.
Sasha has had one sickness after another this past month... in addition to teething.
I was supposed to go to New Orleans this morning, but Sash had a fever of 104 last night, and it kept going back up when she was ready for a new dose of motrin. I couldn't leave her for the first time not knowing what was wrong and I needed to take her to the doc. She has some virus, but they don't know what.. So, DH is in NO for this wedding, and I am home with a sick baby.
This all started with a cold and double ear infection on our anniversary last month, then coxsackie the day she went for her ear recheck, then two teeth popped through, now this...
She wakes up every night once or twice and is up at 5 every morning. It's been this way for weeks now. Please tell me it will go back to normal and I will sleep again?? I am so burned out.

Re: What a month... a vent
ugh, poor sash! It will def. go back to normal, but I wouldn't be surprised if you may have to sleep train again once she's ALL better. If you do it should only take one night or so, but she's getting used to getting up now....but you never know, she could be fine.
Also, heads up but Shane (who's been STTN w/o a peep since 10 months) had a a pretty rough couple of nights when we moved. She could do totally fine but just thought I'd mention it. I made sure his room was completely set up before he went to sleep the first night, but he still gave me a really rough time. Second night not as bad but still not great. Third night back to normal!
Hope she feels better soon and you guys calm down over there!

Re: What a month... a vent
Thats how I felt the entire month of April... DD had a double ear infection that would not go away and popped out two more teeth on top of it all. I went from having a happy, relatively independent baby to one that whined all day, didn't nap and woke up almost two hours early every morning. Every night I would go to be thinking "please let this get better tomorrow".. I called April the lost month, I have like zero pictures of her and have barely any recollection of things we did, it was just one big exhausted unhappy blur. With dd it lasted a whole month BUT once the ear infection went away she went back to her old happy self. All May she has been the happy wonderful baby I remembered! I know it stinks now but it will be over eventually (hopefully very soon). Sorry you had to miss the wedding
