Friends of ours have gone to the Watermill the past 2 years and had a great time. They will be going again this year, we may join them this year.

Every year we have a nice porter house steak dinner at home, shrimp cocktail, salad, and appetizers. We watch a movie and watch the ball fall. I am not that into NYE ever since I was involved in a car accident 20 yrs ago, we were okay, but a drunk driver hit our car at a traffic light. It had made a impression on me NOT to go out on NYE not even during the day.

Before our DS was born two months ago, we would have been going to our childless friend's house for her annual NYE party. However, this year when we received our invitation it specifically said Adult Only so we will be staying home with our son and and have a party of three

We go to a big party every year. It is at a family friend's Yacht Club. They rent out the Clubhouse and get a great DJ (he's soooo good!) and we can invite whoever and make a table of our people. Last year we had two tables. They have a nice catered dinner and we countdown to the ball dropping - it's fun! We go with DH's family usually.

Party at our place! We have about 10 friends over, go out for dinner, do random stuff all night, games, etc.... then go out for breakfast in the morning!  It's a tradition, I look forward to it every year!

We usually go to a friends house, but with DD now, we wouldnt keep her up late anyway, so i think we are just going to relax at home with some apps

I wish & hope nothing. I hate NYE.
If it were up to me, I'd like to stay home - either cook a great meal or order something, watch a bunch of movies with some good wine & watch the ball drop on the comfort of my couch.
Unfortunately, DH is one of those people who HAS to do something on nights like these, be it hang out with a bunch of people or go all out. 
Again, I say - I hate NYE

Usually we spend it with DH's family since this is something he has always done. One of his friend's asked him what he was doing this year and he just asked me what we were doing and I just gave him a look like really?  So I don't know. I would love to go to Jericho Terrace since that is where we got married but I'm overweight and don't want to buy a new dress. Maybe we'll have people over and I'll make appetizers and such.

Party for 2 at home.
I am pretty much over going out on NYE. Everything is more expensive and more crowded... and I get very nervous about driving.
We get a very good bottle of champagne and a very good bottle of wine, make some apps, and enjoy some alone time.

The day after Christmas my DH, brother, SIL and I are headed to Ft.Lauderdale to my parents condo...we might go out in South Beach or maybe Las Olas....4 yrs running tradition love it!
For those asking...Leonards has catering hall party that I hear is fuN!

No plans yet. We're prob just going to a local bar to hang with friends.
I want to have a NYE party but we have a wedding the next day and I just can't be bothered with cleaning prior to the wedding. The day after the wedding we have a surprise 30th to go to as well.
I really wanted to have one though.
