Reservation for 10 at one of our favorite restaurants that is 3 miles away! So at midnight we will be finishing up our last bottle of wine and eating one of my favorite deserts and then heading home with my DH! Perfect

don't know yet! we live in the city but I have no desire to pay $100pp+ cover to go to some bar or club, or to go to times sq and watch the ball drop.
I was initially hoping to go somewhere small to make the most of a long weekend but everywhere nearby is cold and AC is really pricey for NYE.
I have a feeling we'll end up staying in just the 2 of us, but I'm secretly hoping to do something low key with friends... we'll see

We are moving to Frankfurt the day before, so probably jet lagged with our cats, which we pick up that day from the airport. Also probably listening to the Germans set off their fireworks.

Nada also. We stay home and put the kids to bed and then have a steak dinner, so wine and watch the ball drop and go to bed. I enjoy doing that so much more then all the parties we use to go to.

Every year we have a nice porter house steak dinner at home, shrimp cocktail, salad, and appetizers. We watch a movie and watch the ball fall. I am not that into NYE ever since I was involved in a car accident 20 yrs ago, we were okay, but a drunk driver hit our car at a traffic light. It had made a impression on me NOT to go out on NYE not even during the day.
I had no plans but this sounds perfect I may be steaking your plan
thank goodness you were not hurt!!

We've got nothing on the agenda. I already told DH that I have NO interest in going anywhere. I'm going to be 8+ months preggo, and watching everyone drink does not sound like my idea of a fun evening.

We live on the west coast and are going to a place called McMennimans (The Grand Lodge). They had an awesome package deal. Dinner, 3 drinks each, live music, room for the night and breakfast the next morning so we are going to go with our friends.
I wish they had places like this in NY. They have several locations throughout Oregon and they have awesome food, brew their own beer, make their own wine and even have a concert series in the summer.

We're going to our friends' house in NJ. We'll be spending the night since DH and I both refuse to drive after sundown on NYE. We've been doing this for years. I love getting together with everyone and just relaxing and eating good food.
