I love Smith Point. Clean, nice. There's a nice tiki bar/snack bar place, they have a beautiful TWA Flight 800 Tribute there, and there's typically a band that plays in the early evenings.
I agree. This was our beach growing up...so many wonderful memories 
Agreed...
We've been going with DH's family once a week...we barbeque, the kids play on the big playground, then we splash around in the water for a while....it's not too crowded and it's clean! And if you go after 5pm, there is no fee!
Is this a town beach or public?
