What are these tax refunds everyone is posting about?
I saw threads about getting school tax refund checks and family tax refund checks. What is that about? Do you have to do something to qualify?

The only one I got was the family tax relief one... that one you had to have had a kid claimed in your household in 2012 and up to a certain max amount of money per year, i think it was 300k?.... not sure about the other one though.

What are these tax refunds everyone is posting about?
The other one was if your school district came in below the 2% tax cap (which most seemed to have done). I believe you get 1-2% back.

We never got the 2nd one but our SD was under the cap. Hoping maybe there is a batch that still needs to go out.

the property one everyone on LI qualified except for 2 towns and I think they were in the hamptons. I haven't received mine yet but I called and they said that they are still mailing them out and everyone should have it by the end of the month
