I have to say I must barely watch TV. Most of the shows listed here I have never watched and have no desire to watch.
I've never seen one episode of Friends, Sex and the City, Sopranos.
I like a lot of old comedies like
Honeymooners
Good Times
All in the Family
Golden Girls
I love Shameless now and Ray Donovan.
Breaking Bad was good
Orange is the new black is ok but I don't get the HUGE hype. I watch it, I like it but I could live without it.
I have very odd taste in TV and a very short attention span. I can't sit through most shows.
House of Cards was absolute TORTURE for me. Like having to do homework, I dreaded it. So I gave up.
There was this one show I really loved about 8 years back. It was short lived and so strange but I LOVED it.
Swingtown- set in the 70s about this couple who were swingers and their friends etc.
Oh how I wish that had taken off and gone more than one season.

I remember Swingtown, I watched it too!! I think that show, given its content, would've done SO much better had it been on a cable channel over network television. I think that was part of it's undoing.

Lost - despite them messing up the last few seasons and having a horrid ending. The first few seasons were my EVERYTHING
Walking Dead - they better not pull a Lost, but they have given me 6 good seasons, so that is enough to make the list
Buffy the Vampie Slayer - god I loved this show inHS
Saved by the Bell - I wanted to name DS Zach. Too bad DH vetoed
Rock of Love with Bret Michaels - trash tv to the max, but I really looked forward to this show each week. I wish they would bring it back with some other rocker.

I forgot about Sherlock! Which reminded me that I neglected a lot of my Masterpiece Mystery faves- Inspector Lewis and also the Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Foyle's War and The Bletchely Circle. All excellent.
I also found some things I like on Netflix which aren't American- Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (set in Australia during the 1920s- clothes were to die for!) and Murdoch Mysteries.

Right now I can only give my top 2. I have to really think about the other 3.
Friends is one of them.
Gilmore Girls is my other. ... Am I the only one who is obsessed with this show  I am ridiculously excited they are bringing it back
