what did your child wear to school on the 100th day?

My oldest glued 100 feathers to his shirt and my middle guy did 100 cupcake cups.

One year when he was really into ninja turtles we made a shell out of one of those long hexagon shaped aluminum foil pan. I spray painted it green and put a strap on it so he could wear it and he decorated it with a hundred stickers

After that they had to dress like a 100 year old person so we bought dollar store glasses and popped out the lenses, a white button down shirt with a bow tie, one of my beige cardigans and sweatpants , baby powder in his hair and a gray mustache and eyebrows

Last year it was kinda the same- old person.

Is this a thing now? We never dress up or were told to by any of my kids teachers.

My older daughters had to wear something decorated with 100 of something...we did 100 bows and then 100 dots in some sort of pattern. Now her teacher asks for a shirt and they do the decorating together in school. I hate dressing like you are 100 years old...that's hard!

We stamped wonder woman onto her shirt 99 times and I ironed on a huge Wonder Woman patch, along with the phrase “100 Days of Wonder”

When my DD was in K they were told to dress up as a 100 year old person. Making a shirt with 100 of something would have been much easier.

My son is in K so I am new to this - but yea they got a letter home the other day that they need to decorate a shirt with 100 "things" and wear to school for the whole day.

They have a TON of ideas on pinterest so I am just going to find something on there.

They weren’t asked to dress up they are making a project in school using 100 items of food so they were asked to donate small food items (skittles, Cheerios etc)

In Pre K she had to make something with 100 of something- so we did 100 Skittles glued to a poster board in the shape of a rainbow with cotton balls for clouds.


Then in I think in K they just had to bring in 100 items- so we did 100 pennies or 100 cheerios- I don't really remember.

In first they had to dress up as a 100 year old person. Cardigan, fake glasses, powder in her hair, pearls, etc.

After that they haven't had to do any 100 day projects- thank God.

DS has to dress like an old man. I'm putting him in dress pants w a vest, shirt, tie, and fedora. I'm spraying his hair gray (silver) and putting on old man eyebrows and mustache. And last, he will carry a cane! DH thinks I'm crazy.

I also saw a funny thing where the kid was wearing a life alert button made out of a cereal box, construction paper and ribbon, but I have to see if I have time for that.
