DS (9 months) has been doing very well with table food and we give him pretty much anything except what he cant have (nuts, honey etc).
So far i send him to daycare with puffs cheerios, his water in a sippy cup and his food for the day (his stage 2 fruit and oatmeal for breakfast and stage 2 veggie for lunch and bottles)
But the day care says he cruises around the room chasing kids for their snacks so besides the puffs what should i send?
i was thinking next week, maybe blueberries, and peas and carrots cut small? on the weekends we will let him try whatever we are eating so i feel like he is missing out on snacks during the week.

I hate trying to figure out what to send DS with. I end up doing a lot of fruits - cubed mango & canteloupe today, a lot of pears (I cube and then steam them for a couple of minutes just so they don't get brown), apple cubes steamed, bananas, watermelon, etc.
And then usually a piece of whole wheat bread or some starch. Lately we found out he loves turkey meatballs so I've cut some up with whole wheat pasta and he eats that.
His daycare provider says he always wants what the other kids are having and sometimes won't eat what I send (this was more when I was still sending him with purees) but I didn't necessarily want him getting too used to chicken nuggets or mac & cheese. But, I'm thinking I should check what her menu is and maybe start just letting her give him that when it works.

Hmm thats a good idea about steaming the apples and pears.
DS loves mango maybe ill cute some of those up too.
Yeah i feel the same i dont want him chomping on nuggets and mac and cheese yet. I am doing my best to start him out as a healthy open minded eater.
thos are all good ideas... Thanks
How much do you send?

Yeah, I want him to get used to the good for you stuff that isn't as "yummy" and then maybe he won't only want to eat crap later on. (probably doesn't matter what I do, he'll end up always wanting the less good stuff anyway.)
I have these small kids tupperwear containers (maybe it hold around a cup) And I'll send him sometimes with 2 filled ones - maybe if both are fruit I'll send another one with the meat or pasta. And maybe a yogurt. He doesn't always eat all of it - I just like to give a lot so if he doesn't like one thing, he may like something else. I know if I haven't packed enough and he's still hungry, she'll give him some cherrios or something. And he also gets (2) 6oz bottles of formula there too that he doesn't always finish.
Oh, I also try to send some cheese - either a cheese stick or about a comparable amount of cut up chedder or something. He loves cheese.
